Ventri was born out of frustration. Our founders watched their own family members—market traders, shop owners, and small business operators—struggle with basic financial management.
They used paper ledgers that got lost or damaged. They forgot who owed them money. They couldn't tell if they were actually making a profit. And when they tried existing accounting software, it was either too expensive, too complicated, or simply not designed for how Nigerian businesses actually operate.
We knew there had to be a better way. So we set out to build a finance management tool that's simple enough for anyone to use, affordable for small businesses, and tailored specifically for the Nigerian market.
